Job Title: Bookkeeping Cynergists

Summary:

The Bookkeeping Cynergists is a key member of the finance team responsible for maintaining accurate and timely financial records for the organization.
This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and a high level of attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and organized individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Daily/Weekly Accounting Functions:

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing.

Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements.

Prepare and post journal entries for various transactions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in the accounting system.

Month-End/Quarter-End Close:

Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing procedures, including account reconciliations and financial statement preparation.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and submit various financial reports to management as required.

Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

Data Entry and Maintenance:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and vendor information.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all financial systems.

Other Duties:


Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Stay current on accounting best practices and industry regulations.


Qualifications:


2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (preferred).

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite).

Excellent data entry and analytical skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a computer.

Frequent use of a computer keyboard and mouse.

Ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing.
